The Annual General Meeting of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka was held on 30 th January 2015 at Univesity of Colombo School of Computing premises. More than 50 people were participated in the event. Kavinga Ekanayaka, chair for year 2014 gave an introduction to IEEE Young professionals and the events carried out by IEEE young professionals Sri Lanka. He emphasized the benefits for volunteers as well as IEEE young professional members with various examples. New executive committee was selected at the event for the year 2015. An introduction to the upcoming big event of IEEE Sri Lanka seciton, the IEEE R10 SYW congress 2015 which is to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka was given by Mr.Subodha Charles. New plans for future of IEEE YP SL were also discussed.
