To start the WIE track session, Dr. Supavadee Aramvith gave a brief introduction on IEEE R10 WIE Activities. Next Prof. Ramalatha Marimuththu mentored all the WIE participants on how to enhance WIE experience and how to overcome all the hurdles faced by female engineers. Then Ms. Simay Akar conducted a workshop on Best Practices for WIE. After lunch, Ms. Keyana Tennant talked on Building a WIE Global Network and how it has been done using IEEE tv. To conclude the sessions, a panel discussion was arranged, speakers invited were Prof. Sivasegaram, Ms. Indrani H and Prof. Yoot Lee Kuhan and was moderated by Dr. Maheshi Dissanayake. Following that was the tea break.
