The event planning started after the confirmation of R10 EA fund confirmation by IEEE R10 EA subcommittee.First , a research was conducted to find out a suitable school for the project. The reason was that there were many schools around Sri Lanka which lacked proper educational facilities. Therefore, the main focus was to do the project in a school like that so that the students will also be motivated. After a thorough search, a suitable school was identified. The school was Eththalagedara Thakshila Vidyalaya situated in Badulla District of Uva province.Next, necessary date allocations were done by discussing with the school and considering the academic schedule of the students. Finally, it was decided to host the event on 14th and 15th of October. After confirming the date, the next most important fact was accommodation.The seminar was held for two consecutive days and it was needed to provide accommodation as the school was 114 km from University of Peradeniya. However, two accommodation places were available in the vicinity of Bandarawela town.Next, the biggest issue was finding money for the project. Luckily, there were two University students who agreed to provide financial support to the event. They donated 15000 LKR and it was a massive support for the seminar.
