Description

This is a localization effort for IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit which was held in Chennai, India and Dubai in 2015 and 2016 respectively. The event was filled with interactive sessions, speeches, an interesting workout session from workout.lk, a car clinic partnered by Automobile Association Ceylon, exhibition booth competition which happened with the participation of student branch affinity groups and Wie4Wie Humanitarian video contest and solution presentations. The event was admired by participants and they were very enthusiastic about the content of the two day summit. The summit created a single platform for the women in engineering community flocked across the globe since there were international participants as well. The summit provided a unique experience to learn through experience sharings and build life lasting relationships among technological community inspiring each other. The main focuses of the summit which were networking, skills enhancement, technology breakthroughs, women in engineering and economic and social aspects were fulfilled with greater heights. IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2017, Sri Lanka was concluded successfully giving participants a most memorable and meaningful experiences showing the true spirit “Inspire| Empower| Lead the Change”.
