Description

The Project “ TrailBlazers'17 - Beach Cleanup ” was successfully conducted by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka (YP SL) Affinity Group under the theme of “1000 steps towards sustainability: Water, Energy and Solid Waste”, held on 20 th August 2017 in the western coastal areas viz Wellawatta to Mount Lavinia . This project was carried out as a beach cleaning activity, to improve the public awareness on sustainable living by promoting cleanliness in coastal area. During the project, IEEE YP SL Team partnered with London Strock Exchange Group (Pvt) Ltd (LSEG) and conducted the session collaboratively. Event had a participation of 20 from the LSEG and 15 members from YP SL Team.
