The meeting was chaired by the Chairman, Dr. Prabath J. Binduhewa The followings were discussed: 1. Welcome by the chair 2. Activities conducted after 2ndExCom: * Semester 3 Design projec was successfully completed 3. Future activities – being organized and in progress * DLP even is being organized and will be conducted together with EECon 2018 on 28 September * IEEE PES event is being organized to be conducted at University of Jaffna on 22 September 2018 * Chapter Chair meeting will be held on 7th October and Dr. H.A.U.S Nawaratne will be representing IEEE PES SL * Nominations are called for the Outstanding Awards 4. Other possible future activities * IEEE PES SL AGM to be oraganized during the first two week of January 5. Next EXcom meeting * Next Excom to be held in November
