SHIELD OF CODE V 1.0 Idea Pitching Inter-Faculty Hackathon which was organized by IEEE Student Branch, University of Ruhuna in Collaboration with Creative Software was held on 17th August 2019 at Auditorium, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. The contest was focused on setting up a better platform for the undergraduates of the faculties who are constantly filled with new ideas and providing a unique opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a professional judge panel. Sixteen teams have been selected from the registered teams based on the proposal of their idea. Finalists have engaged in a 6-hour coding/development venture where they could design, develop, implement and commercialize their innovative ideas and then they got the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an expert panel of judges along with a prototype demonstration of their product.
