IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems. More than 10 teams from the University of Peradeniya competed in IEEEXtreme this year. Contestants arrived at the top floor of the computer centre at 5:30 AM on 20th October. They will be coded until 5:30 AM on the next day. Team BiteCode from UoP managed to top the Sri Lankan leaderboard while two teams from UoP managed to be in the top 100 teams globally #IEEEXtreme 12.0
