1. Welcome by the chair Chandana welcomed the excom and thanked everyone for their participation. 2. Preparation of year plan Chandana announced the following members who will be leading the IEEE YP SL 2019 projects IEEE LETs Talk - Dhammika, Nishika, Warunika Career Fair - Akila, Yasitha, Nuwini Local Benefits - Dheynoshan Fundraiser - Chanaka, Rajitha IEEE Day - Isuri, Migara, Lakshitha Quiz event - Isuri, Migara, Lakshitha Chandana mentioned that the above responsibilities may change if any other new projects are added to the event list. 3. New ideas and execution finalization Committee Discussed the planned activities in detail 4. Allocation of budget for the proposed activities Will be discussed during next meeting. 5. Finalizing the volunteer pool About 60 volunteers have applied to the volunteer pool. 37 Volunteers have been selected to serve for YP volunteering pool and they have been emailed with a Whatsapp invitation link to join volunteer group chat. About 20 volunteers have joined the group chat. Four volunteers are selected to serve as designers while no volunteers has applied as photographers. 6. Other matters Discussed new ideas for YP SL. Committee decided to have an online meeting on the third Saturday of every month at 9:30 PM. Next meeting was scheduled to 20th April 2019.
