Description

The Build-a-Robot Robotics Workshop for Undergraduates, organized by the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of University of Moratuwa, was held at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, from 09.30am to 04.30pm on the 13th of October 2018, as the second event of "Build-a-Robot 2018". The workshop was conducted by Mr. Janith Gunarathne and Dr. Peshala G. Jayasekara, and Undergraduates of all Universities of Sri Lanka were provided the opportunity to participate and learn the basics of building a robot, including an introduction to the basic tools and sensors, and PID programming basics. The workshop was held with the intention of preparing undergraduates for the final event of "Build-a-Robot 2018", the Build-a-Robot Robotics Challenge.
