WIE SL Section – ExCom Meeting 08 23 rd October, 2019 – 2130-2230h Venue: Online Meeting was initiated by the Chair, Dr. Windhya Rankothge Participants: Dr. Windhya, Dulma, Heshani, Warunika, Abharna, Sashika, Dr. Jeevani Since the SYW Congress organizing committee has requested a specific session for the WIE track, and since the ExCom of WIE SL section agreed upon the difficulty in arranging the AGM within the allocated one-hour time slot for the WIE track this year, it was decided not to conduct the AGM in parallel to the SYW Congress. Instead, Heshani, Warunika and Abharna were assigned to arrange a separate event for the WIE track. Since the AGM has to be arranged as a separate event this year, the committee decided that it will be difficult to provide a sponsorship for the congress, considering the funds remaining in the section account. Instead it was agreed to bear the associated extra cost of the WIE track of the event. Meeting was adjourned at 22.30h
