A workshop on Deep learing for vision was organized at MERCon 2019 conference under the technical co sponsorship of IEEE PES Sri Lanka chapter. This workshop covered the General introduction, Anatomy of a Convolutional Neural Network, Introduction to Tensorflow with Keras API, Vision tasks using deep learning (semantic segmentation, classification, surface normal prediction), Implementing a deep learning system starting from a publication and implementing a custom layer, Implementing a deep learning system starting from a publication and implementing a custom layer and Current topics (GANs, security concerns, CAPSNETs)
