The meeting was chaired by the Chairman, Dr. Asanka Rodrigo. The Chair welcomed everyone to the fourth EXCOM meeting and announced the agenda. The following matters were discussed: PES Sri Lanka Chapter AGM 2020 It was decided to have the PES Sri Lanka chapter AGM in mid-January 2020 ( 18 th or 19 th January) at a hotel near Awissawella or Kurunagala. Update on R10 Chapter Chair meeting Ms Akila informed that she participated in the R10 chapter chair meeting at Macau China on 1 st December 2019. She also informed that it was a fruitful meeting for planning future activities of PES Sri Lanka chapter. Update on nomination call for PES Outstanding Engineer Award: Dr Asanka requested the Secretary to again circulate the email to PES membership asking for nominations for both PES Outstanding Engineer and Young Engineer Award. Proposal for IEEE PES student congress 2020: Ms Akila informed that after the consent given via email PES Sri Lanka chapter submitted a proposal to host the 4 th IEEE PES Student Congress 2020 as a co-host along with IEEE Sri Lanka chapter. She informed the decision will be given by mid-January 2020 and there will be an initial plan to coordinate with PES Student branch chapters before the decision is given, Any other matters: Mr. Ashan informed that the website information has been updated to the date with latest events held. Since there were no other issues to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
