Description

The 4th meetup of the series of meetups for the year 2019/20 organized by the IEEE Sri Lanka section was held on the 28th of November 2019, having SLIIT Metropolitan Campus as the venue partner for the meetup. The topic for the meetup was "Self Driving Cars" and the meetup was held with the participation of more than 85 students. The guest speakers were Mr. Nipuna Weerathunge and Dr. S.D.R Perera. Mr. Nipuna concentrated on the current market for self-driving cars and current frontrunner while Dr. Perera explained the theory and the technology behind these vehicles.
