The IEEE Sports Day of Sri Lanka section was organized for the second consecutive year in collaboration with the Student Branch of University of Kelaniya. The event took place on 7 th of December 2019 from 9am onwards at University of Kelaniya grounds. IEEE Sri Lanka section representatives, IEEE student and graduate student members from around the country gathered for a day of fun events and friendly matches. The ground at University of Kelaniya was filled with IEEE members taking part in cricket, badminton and chess. It was a day to make friends with fellow IEEE members of the section as well as to meet old friends. The event received positive feedback from the attendees and it was concluded with the award ceremony in the evening.
