With the hope of inducing interest in technology-related subjects and further on tertiary education in the minds of the school children of our country, SLInspire has put forth a successful seminar series to enhance the tendency towards gathering knowledge and developing soft skills. The first day of the seminar series was conducted at the University of Jaffna with the presence of Mr. M. Rupeekshan, an undergraduate of Computer Science Department of University of Jaffna and a Senior Content Developer at Zero Gravity, as the resource person. The seminar series was mainly focused on giving necessary information for Ordinary Level students of Jaffna about tertiary educational opportunities available in Sri Lanka. It was also highlighted about the state universities and other recognized vocational qualifications up on line for the school students passing out. Seminars were conducted in both English and Tamil languages for the convenience of the students. The content delivery was also supported by Mr. P. Thujimayuran, an undergraduate of the University of Moratuwa, as a speaker. The first day of the seminar series was successfully concluded with positive feedback and generous smiles on their faces.
