IEEE Electronic Design Competition organized by IEEE Sri Lanka Section was concurrently held in 5 centers in 5 different universities including University of Moratuwa. The main objective of the event was to develop the interest regarding electronic designing among Sri Lankan University Students. IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa together with IEEE Robotics and Automation Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa handled the center at University of Moratuwa on 28 th of July 2019 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There were 8 extremely talented teams designing circuits for the given task at the Analog Lab of Electronic and Telecommunication Department, University of Moratuwa. Dr. Chameera Edussooriya was the center coordinator for the center at university of Moratuwa. He gave an immense support for the organizing committee in order to make this event a great success. Moreover, he was guiding the organizing committee from the very beginning and actively interacted looked after about the difficulties that organizers had to face. Evaluation of the Designs was done by Dr. Chameera Edussooriya and Dr. Jayathu Samarawickrama who are staff member of Electronic and Telecommunication Department of University of Moratuwa. They inspected each feature of the circuits designed by the competitors.
