MoraXtreme 4.0 organized by IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa, is an all island algorithmic coding competition which was held by consisting of two rounds. The main intention of organizing this programming competition was to enhance the number of top-ranking winners in Sri Lanka in IEEEXtreme by giving them the similar experience of IEEEXtreme. The initial round was held on the 28th of September 2019 with over 350 teams consisting of over 1000 undergraduates of Sri Lanka. The initial round was hosted online and commenced from 6.00 am onwards. The participants were given 8 questions during the 6 hours of this competition. The first three questions were allocated for only one hour while the remaining questions were allocated for the next 5 hours. Thereafter, the final round of MoraXtreme 4.0 was held on 12 of October 2019 with over 75 teams consisting of 200 participants. It was a 12-hour programming competition. The final round was also hosted online under the HackerRank platform. It was also commenced from 6.00 am onwards. All the contestants were given 12 questions to be solved in only 12 hours. Thereafter, on the 14th of October 2019 the highest ranked teams of MoraXtreme 4.0 were announced. LK Domain, Zone 24x7 (Pvt) Ltd and InfoSoft (Pvt)Ltd extended their partnership in making the MoraXtreme 4.0 journey a success beyond expectations.
