IEEEXtreme 13.0 is a worldwide 24-hour programming competition, bringing thousands of students from around the world together. It was held on the 19th of October 2019 with the participation of over 50 teams consisting of over 150 undergraduates as well as graduates. IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa host the competition for the competitors by providing places and refreshments. More than 30 volunteers from UoM participated during the competition day to ensure the smooth flow of logistic work. The event was begun with the presence of guest of honor as IEEE Student Branch Counselor, Prof. Sisil Kumarawadu. At the beginning of the competition rules and regulations were informed to the contestants. In order to proceed, each of the contestant were provided with a hard copy of the set of questions to be solved. After successful 24 hours the event, IEEEXtream 13.0 came to an end at 6.00 am on 20th October 2019. Team “Sira” from University of Moratuwa became the 48 th place in world ranking, which was the top most achievement in Sri Lanka from the competition in 2019. LK Domain, Zone 24x7 (Pvt) Ltd and InfoSoft (Pvt) Ltd extended their partnership in making the IEEEXtreme 4.0 journey a success beyond expectations.
