Description

The Awarding Ceremony was organized on 14 th January 2020 at University Premises in the intention of appreciating the performance of the winners of IEEEXtreme 13.0 and MoraXtreme 4.0 Coding Competitions organized by IEEE Computer Society of the IEEE Student Branch of University of Moratuwa in 2019. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Vice Chancellor of University of Moratuwa, Prof. Kapila Perera and the honoured guests, Prof. Gihan Dias and Dr. Amal Shehan Perera. Thought provoking speeches were delivered by all the guests of honour, adding more value to the ceremony. A special session was handled by Architect Mr. Heshan Perera representing Zone 24×7 inspiring all the curious minds in the audience. The success of this event was backed by the industry partners Zone 24x7 (Pvt) Ltd, InfoSoft (Pvt) Ltd and LK Domain with monetary terms while E-WIS provided mobile phones for the members of teams which were placed 1 st in IEEEXtreme and MORAXtreme.
