Biomedical engineering is one of the most rapidly developing engineering industries from a global perspective with huge potential from a local perspective as well. This can manifest in the development of innovative new products as well as an encouraging environment for biomedical based startups especially at a time when the importance of biomedical engineering is felt more than ever With this in mind, the IEEE Engineering in Medicine Biology Student Chapter of the University of Moratuwa is organizing a webinar series exploring the potential of biomedical engineering in Sri Lanka and what the future holds for the industry. Among our speakers on the day will be, Mr.Harin De Silva, Managing Director of Verox Labs and Mr. Keerthi Kodithuwakku, CEO of Effective Solutions.
