Description

The Annual General Meeting of the IEEE IAS Student Branch Chapter University of Peradeniya was held on 2nd March 2020 at the Engineering seminar room 01 with the participation of Dr. Lilantha samaranayaka, Senior Lecturer of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, UOP and Advisor and Senior Treasurer of the society. Thereby the former members concluded their duties and handed over to the new office bearers marking the inauguration of the term 2020. Dr.Lilantha samaranayaka gave past introduction activities conducted by the IAS SBC UOP and made the students aware of the social role. The new office bearers were elected and selected for the year 2019. Mr. Dushyantha gopallawa was selected as the new chairperson, Mr. Thusara ranasinghe was selected as the new vice-chair and Mr. Saranga pinipa as the secretary of the society. The meeting concluded with the hope of continuing a successful year ahead.
