Second workshop was held on 14th of October 2020 on 6.00pm-8.00pm via zoom platform. This session was started by delivering the welcome speech and then our facilitator Mr. Azmeer Mohamed started the practical session on adobe illustrator tool. At the beginning of the session he did a presentation on the role of images play in the designing process, selection of the design pages, layouts, interface, adjusting pixels and resolutions for a quality design. He discussed about the theories behind the images, color depths, etc and how to find the quality images. Then he discussed the tools with basic examples like how to draw shapes, coloring them, addition of many layers to a same project and at the end he did a basic example using the provided basic tools by showing all the necessary steps as well. Also, he discussed how to download and install other open source designing tools like INKSCAPE and CorelDRAW. The participants asked question at the end of the session about the tool as well as on theory parts. More than 90 participants enrolled with the session from our universities and the first workshop was successfully held with the help of SLTC staff members as well.
