Description

The first Quarter Review Meeting of IEEE Power Electronics Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa was held on the 16th of August 2020. It was conducted with the participation of Executive Committee members of the society via the Zoom platform. The meeting commenced at 8.30 PM and a discussion was carried out about the upcoming events and novel ideas on initiating different projects for the next quarter. Two events were finalized to be implemented during the next quarter as follows. Orientation - Conforming the newly appointed supportive committee of the society to work as a team and gain awareness of the future events New Normal Photopedia (Photo/Selfie Contest) - A creative contest to present health tips and safety guidelines during COVID-19 pandemic through photos/selfies Webinar Finally the meeting was wrapped up with the insight of carrying on the true spirit of IEEE PELS to the society.
