CodeWithWIE 2020 was launched with the intention of helping the local community and the health care system by providing a solution for any problem that has arisen due to COVID 19 pandemic. Initially teams were asked to apply by submitting the proposal for the proposed solution. 12 proposals were received by the deadline on the 8 th of May, 2020. These selected teams were asked to present their proposed solutions along with the design of the solution. On the 10 th of May, 2020 initial screening was done to select the best projects. There were three panels with 11 judges from both industry and academia to select the best team. Each panel had an executive committee member of IEEE WIE SL Section as well. The evaluations were conducted through zoom. After the evaluation, the best six teams were selected to the next round.
