Description
IEEEXtreme is a global event which takes place every year where teams of IEEE student members take part in a 24 hour coding competition to solve a set of given programming problems. IEEExtreme 14.0 happended as a virtual event and the IEEE student branch of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) also took part in this event. New members as well as old members from SLIIT had the opportunity to take part in this event. The main objectives of “IEEEXtreme 14.0” were to: To test the skills of an IEEE Student Branch team against the programming capabilities of all the other IEEE Student Branch teams that sign up to compete in the event. To increase the number of IEEE activities with a focus on the computer, programming, and information technology fields in the IEEE. To get more current Student Members involved in the general activities of the IEEE while encouraging new students to join the IEEE.
