IEEE PES Sri Lanka Chapter proudly presented the fourth webinar on “Early Production Results from Sri Lanka's First Floating PV Plant” as a part of the IEEE PES DAY 2020 on 8th of May 2020 via the online platform ZOOM. Mr. Torgeir Ulset, who is the Business Development Manager of REC Solar, Norway conducted the webinar. He is a Chemical Engineer from the Norwegian Institute of Technology. Torgeir has been involved in product development and worldwide sales of Solar Grade Silicon and mono and multicrystalline wafers in Elkem Solar and REC Solar since 1997. Following the integration of Elkem Solar and REC into one company in 2014, he held the position of Sales Manager in Asia Pacific for REC Solar from late 2015 until October of 2017. Mr Ulset gave his ideas to the questions asked by the participants and Q and A session was moderated by Secretary, IEEE PES Sri Lanka chapter.
