IAS Comrades-Phase 3

Description
This Session was organized by the IEEE IAS Student branch chapter of University of Moratuwa in collaboration with IAS SB chapters of University of Peradeniya and University of Ruhuna. The main objective of the session was to educate the audience about IAS CMD Competitions and about the activities conducted by the IEEE Industrial Applications Society. The IAS Comrades team conducted an informatory flyer distribution program. The flyer consisted of details of IAS CMD Contests. The guest speaker, Mr. M.K. Dilan, Chairman of IAS SL chapter shared his thoughts with regard to international competitions organized by IEEE Industrial Application Society. The guest speaker, Mr. Tharindu Suraj who is a Research Engineer at University of Moratuwa, Contest Winner of Myron Zucker Undergraduate Student Design Contest 2018 and IAS CMD Student Robotics Demonstration Contest in 2019 delivered his session which included an introduction about IAS and IAS CMD competitions. He also shared his experiences on the international competitions that he had been a part of. His speech was inspiring to the audience who were planning to join the IAS CMD Competitions
