Introduction The No Fall Back Championship (NFB Championship) is an online gaming competition organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa. This was totally conducted as an online gaming competition, as we identified it as a new trend among the young generation in Sri Lanka. Goals of organizing the event Provide an immense experience for the gamers around the island Improve the reputation of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa Highlight the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa as a prominent Student Branch among the other Student Branches in the country Boost the official Facebook page of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa Event organization The event organization was started about a month prior to the event. There were 5 Co-chairpersons in the event Yasasi Pabasara Sameera Senaratne Oshan Jayawardane Pesala Raveen Kavindu Katuwandeniya These chairpersons were responsible for various committees and under those committees, there were a considerable number of passionate volunteers. All the tasks of these committees were under the supervision of the officials of the executive committee of the IEEE SB of the University of Moratuwa. How the event took place All the participants had to register for the competition through an online form. After the registration, the finalized teams were selected by the FIFO method. Then, there were several sessions for the team leaders on several occasions to give the guidelines and explain the structure and the rules of the competition. After that, the selected groups were played in the group stage. After the group stage, 12 teams from each pool were selected for the semifinals. Among the semifinalists, 10 teams from each semifinal were selected for the finals. After conducting the final, Champion, 1 st Runners up, 2 nd Runners Up prizes were given to the top 3 teams in the final. Winners of the final MAX|B4M|TEAMUNSTOPPABLE -Champions WG|ONYX – 1 st Runners up WG|NRC FXSOCIETY – 2 nd Runner Up Parallel to this event another competition was held to find the most popular team among the participants. It was conducted based on the reactions for the team’s name posts, which were posted on the official page of the IEEE SB of the University of Moratuwa.
