In the modern era, Electronic engineers face a lot of competence while continuing their courses and when applying to jobs, due to high demand and the special requirements that are created recently for fresh engineers who are new to the industry. IEEE Industrial Electronics Society of SLTC has planned to conduct a one-day webinar session focusing about the topics, Innovation and Electronic Industry, which we believe will be a huge pillar for undergraduates and fresh graduates when stepping into the industry. A well experienced and talented resource person is invited to guide the participants throughout the webinar. Here, attendees get the chance to learn and discover important topics related to innovation and electronic engineering fields and also to clear their doubts regarding the topics by directing them towards the invited resource person during the Q & A session. Project objectives are as follows, • To give better understanding in innovation. • To brief about the innovation related facilities in Sri Lanka and other countries. • To inform the audience about the expectations of the engineering industry. • To guide about the required skills that an engineer should have. •To brief about PLC, Automation and AI whilst mentioning the importance of learning programming languages. • To inform the audience about the changes in industry which have been created after COVID-19.
