Description
The Annual General Meeting of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Student Branch Chapter of the University of Peradeniya was held on 20th March 2021 with the participation of Prof. Aruna Gunawardana, the advisor of the IEEE MTT-S Student Branch chapter of the University of Peradeniya and Prof. Manjula Fernando, the department head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Peradeniya. The annual reports of 2020 were presented and the new board of officials was elected for the year 2021. Mr. Tharindu Kavinda was appointed as the new Chairperson of the society and Miss. Nethmi Sathsarani was appointed as the Secretary. The Vice-Chairperson Mr. Supun Dissanayake and the rest of the office bearers were elected respectively. The meeting ended with the hope for a productive and successful journey for society during the year 2021.
