CUBE Satellite workshop 2.0 DAY 01

Description
The inaugural session of the Cube Satellite and Ground Station Control workshop organized by the IEEE MTT-S student Branch Chapter and SEDS Chapter of the University of Peradeniya in collaboration with Orion space Pvt Ltd Nepal was held successfully on the 16th May 2021 via Zoom online platform with more than 250 enthusiastic participants around the country and from overseas. This was the introductory session of the workshop series which includes 5 lecture sessions and a hands-on experience session. The guest speaker of the first session was Mr. Rakesh Chandra Prajapathi, the CEO of Orion Space Pvt Ltd Nepal. The participants were able to get the basic awareness about Cube satellites from this introductory lecture which was followed by an online questionnaire. The participants actively took part in the Q and A session at the end of the lecture to find solutions and explanations to their problems and doubts. The introductory session of the workshop series ended successfully with the hope of connecting with the next session.
