Inceptivus 1.0 Electric Design Workshop and C ompetition was organized by IEEE Student Branch, University of Ruhuna. This workshop was focusing mainly the first-year students who have just begun their academic journey. In this program, there was an electronic design workshop. The workshop was held on 10 th March 2021 through the zoom platform. The aim of the workshop was to provide electronic design and simulation skills to the participants and several topics were covered such as introduction to the industry, PCB simulation, PCB designing. Each topic was covered by, • Introduction to Industry – Mr. Hansamal Dharmarathna • PCB Simulation - Mr.Vidura Wijekoon • PCB Designing - Mr. Hasitha Gunawardhana The Moderator of the workshop was Ms. R.W.P.K.T.D. Thalgahagoda. When the workshop was over there was a quiz for the participants to check whether the workshop was successful. The winners of the quiz were, • 1 st place -Ms. S.C. Ranaweera • 2 nd place -Mr. U.G.D.T. Dissanayaka • 3 rd place -Mr. W.M.C.E. Fernando After the necessary knowledge was given through the workshop, the competition was held .
