The final webinar session of Cubesat 2.0, the Cube Satellite and Ground Station Control workshop organized by the IEEE MTT-S Student Branch Chapter and the SEDS Chapter of University of Peradeniya in collaboration with Orion Space Pvt Ltd Nepal was held successfully on the 20the June 2021 via Zoom online platform with the participation of Prof. Aruna Gunawardana, Senior Adviser of IEEE MTT-S Student Branch Chapter of University of Peradeniya and Dr. Achala Pallegedara, Senior Adviser of SEDS Sri Lanka Chapter. The lecture for the day was presented by Mr. Jithen Thapa, Research and Development Engineer at Orion Space and the lecture was based on Antennas and Ground Systems. The participants were able to gain technical awareness and sharpen their knowledge related to antennas and ground systems from this discussion which was followed by a Q and A session for the participants to get more clarifications and explanations. As usual the lecture was followed by an online quiz and the quiz marks and answers were provided to them within the day. The participants who completed all the online quizzes successfully will be selected for the hands- on experience sessions which were postponed due to prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country and they will be conducted as soon as the situation gets back to normal. This marked the conclusion of the webinar session of the workshop series Cubesat 2.0 organized in order to promote satellite technology in the country, which was conducted for six consecutive weeks with the participation of enthusiasts and professionals around the country and from abroad. The session ended successfully with the hope of joining the hands on experience sessions when the pandemic situation is controlled.
