Discussion Welcome by the chair Akila and Dhammika welcomed the executive committee and thanked everyone for their participation. Tech Workshop Kaumadi mentioned that they had initiated the works in “Y2N” and the logo design was in the process and all documents works were completed. They preferred the official email, facebook and youtube of IEEE Young professionals (SL) to make all the PR activities. Kaumadi then briefed about the module like medical instruments: (ventilators) as we are focusing on biomedical engineering. Akila and Dhammika raised some doubts about the concept and Kaumadi clarified their main motive. Therefore Dhammika suggested that he would arrange some IEEE personalities to get a clear idea about the main concepts and to identify the main purpose. Ashan agreed with Kaumadi and suggested that they need to initiate the main plan to make the project more successful. Treasurer report Warunika mentioned to contact her and to update if there is any expenditure in the projects. Presented the treasurer report for the projects AI-driven Sri Lanka, LETs talk and Studpro. LETs talk Dasun Herath mentioned that they had already planned to have the the 1 st session on 28 th of June; under the topic of cyber bullying. Initially planned to have an overall session and to have a question and answer session. LETs talk background design was totally completed; and Dhammika suggested to mention the brand of “LETs talk” to the design and also told to focus the global funding steps to have a clear plan.Dasun requested to have a facebook page for LETs talk and Dhammika suggested to carry out the PR under IEEE YP official facebook page. Vidura mentioned that they were mainly focusing as a general talk but it’s also possible to add if there is a need for technology. Dasun briefed that their volunteer team were working in a proper manner and planned to have the sessions in the 3 rd week of each month. StudPro Nuwini briefed that they have successfully finished the mentoring sessions and dedicated thanks to the mentors in the executive committee and now they are working on the tips and tricks. And also they updated their website. Their next plan is to have a session like “Ask me” to clear their doubts for the students in the industrial level. And she mentioned that all team members were doing their responsibilities properly. They planned to handover the expense report on the 1st week of July. AI Driven Dhammika briefed about the project. He mentioned that the community talk was postponed to the 4th week of June. Their website was updated. But the facebook page became inactive due to some technical issues and mentioned that they were working on it. Sidath agreed with Dhammika and also mentioned that their volunteering teams were properly doing their work.
