IEEE 'Andaheraya'

Description
IEEE 'Andaheraya' was a concept brought forward by the Student Activities Committee of IEEE Sri Lanka Section in order to raise awareness among undergraduates about IEEE and the benefits of volunteering. This took place virtually as a series of sessions which happened parallelly in each university on the 7th of August 2021, from 6.00 pm onwards. Every university was given a theme related to the traditional Kandyan 'Wannam' and University of Moratuwa was given the theme, 'Thuranga Wannama' (Horse). Dhammika Marasinghe, Sectional Student Activities Chairman of IEEE Sri Lanka Section was the guest speaker of the session co-hosted by University of Moratuwa. He shared his experiences at IEEE with the audience encouraging the young IEEEians to volunteer more. The session came to an end with a very enthusiastic Q and A session. Mr. Dhammika Marasinghe was given a virtual token of appreciation for his contribution.
