IEEE අඬහැරය of University Of Kelaniya which is a collaboration event with the IEEE Sri Lanka Section was held successfully on 7th of August 2021 together with all the other 20 IEEE Student Branches of Sri Lanka at 6.00 p.m along with the theme Naiyadi Wannama that represents Snake. The aim of this event was to provide an awareness about IEEE for the community along with the experiences of IEEE volunteers. The event started with an introduction to the IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Computer Society Chapter and IEEE WIE Affinity Group delivered by Mr.Tharuka Vishwajith. After, The valuable and interesting sessions of the Guest Speakers, delivered presentations representing the IEEE Student Branch of University of Kelaniya, the IEEE WIE Affinity Group of University of Kelaniya, the IEEE Computer Society of University of Kelaniya respectively. They shared their experiences and important information with stating the projects they engaged in along with the benefits they gained by participating in those projects and events. Further, the participants were Informed about all the past and the upcoming events. Before winding up, the secretary of the IEEE student branch of University of Kelaniya, Kavindi Herath delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded around 7.45 PM.
