As a part of the Month of CodeGeniX project series, “Road to CodeMania’21: Python Fundamentals & Algorithmic Programming” includes four informative workshops on Python programming and a project that evaluates the participants on the knowledge they grasped through this webinar series. The workshops were open to all students, undergraduates, school leavers, tech enthusiasts, and anyone keen on stepping into technology fields. The first workshop was on Introduction to Python and the approach to programming in Python. It was tailored with the aim to provide the fundamental knowledge required to learn Python. Participants were given an insight into terminology linked with programs, data, and algorithms. The connection between the terms was explained with related examples. In-depth discussions were provided for data types, data structures, and algorithms. The first workshop covered the following algorithm structures namely: Guess-Approximation, Brute force, Divide &Conquer and Recursion.
