The second day workshop on ethical hacking, organised by the IET OnCampus University of Peradeniya, in collaboration with the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society of the University of Peradeniya, was held on 20th June 2021 from 4.00 pm onwards via zoom platform. Eng. Thushara Deshapriya continued the workshop from where he stopped at day one. At the commencement of the second day of the workshop, Eng. Thushara Deshapriya was very pleased to explain the two tasks given to the participants, how they approached them, and the issues they faced while doing it. He also didn’t forget to answer the participants’ questions and to show the possible ways of doing it. Then he discussed some of the general problems on approaching the websites for the purpose of hacking ethically. He then explained how privacy had been violated and some practices to rectify them. The participants were surprised to hear that it was the mobile phone, the most vulnerable equipment in the world, but essential for dwelling. Before concluding, the speaker was there for the questions raised by the listeners. All were answered without any hesitation, which made the session more interesting and free of doubts. Finally, the vote of thanks was done by Mr. Darsha Udayanga, Chairperson of IET OnCampus UOP, to remark the conclusion of the two-day workshop on ethical hacking.
