Description
The Annual General Meeting 2021 of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa, concluded successfully virtually, via the Zoom online platform. The event was graced by Dr. Maheshi Dissanayake, the Chair Elect, of IEEE Sri Lanka Section 2021 as the Guest of Honor and Dr. Chamira Edussooriya as the Student Branch Advisor of the society. After the welcome address by the Outgoing Chairman, the Student Branch Advisor delivered his speech. Then the AGM's(Annual General Meeting) minutes, treasurer's report and annual report for the last year was presented inorder by the outgoing secretary, outgoing treasurer and outgoing chairman respectively. Speech by the chief guest came after the annual report. The election of the new Executive Committee was conducted by the Director of Logistics in IEEE student branch University of Moratuwa. The newly elected and appointed Chairman of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa, presented the year plan for the term 21/22 and the meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Secretary of the society.
