IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members are advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch. Teams compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems. Since the period of IEEEXtreme 15.0 was during the pandemic of COVID-19 , it was conducted virtually this time. The competition started at 5:30 AM (GMT 00:00) on 23rd of October 2021 and ended at 5:30 AM (GMT 00:00) on 24th of October 2021.All together 29 teams were registered to compete in this event under the IEEE Student Branch of University of Vavuniya . During the 24 hours all the teams did their collaboration with their teammates with the help of the virtual meeting platforms like zoom. Around 315 teams took part in the event from SriLanka where the teams from the IEEE Student Branch of University of Vavuniya performed well and took the 67 th (Cybernetics) ,68 th (BitTron) and 89 th (FIRSTcODERS) ranks on island ranking as per now(28-10-2021). This was the highest performance from the IEEE Student Branch of University of Vavuniya for the IEEEXtreme15.0. We collected the experience of our branch's senior Extreme competitors as short videos and made a video out of them.Also we made a video about the rules and regulations of the competition to instruct the competitors .
