Description

This was an awareness session conducted to encourage the students of Sri lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) to participate in IEEE Xtreme 15.0 which is a Flagship programming competition of IEEE and also this was an introduction to the SLIIT Xtreme programming competition which was organized by the IEEE computer Society of SLIIT in collaboration with the Software Engineering Student Society of SLIIT to give and better preparation for students who intend to participate in IEEE Xtreme and also introcuce them to competitiive programming. This event Included an Introduction session to IEEE Xtreme conducted by the Kavindu Perera who was the Chairman for the IEEE Computer society as well as an Ambassador for IEEE Xtreme 15.O. this session was follwed by an awareness session on what competitiive programming is which was conducted by Dr. Nuwan Kodagoda and followed by a mentoring sesion by Dr. Shyam Renal and Mr. Madhushan who had lots of experience in training students for Competitive programming competitions as well as participating in them.
