IEEE Ruhuna Chapter Robotics and Automation society organized an Arduino workshop series in order to give the basic knowledge about electronics and Arduino for the students who are very new to this field. The name of the workshop series was Introduction to Basic Electronics and Arduino and this was a beneficial course on Arduino and electronics for the students who are interested in that. The first workshop was held on 10 th of July, 2021 covering the fundamental introduction of the Arduino and also discussed the basic electronic devices which are commonly used software in industrial works and educational stuff. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ruchira Perera who is a graduate from Faculty of Engineering University of Ruhuna and currently working at Synopsys Sri Lanka. The second workshop of this Arduino workshop series was held on 18 th of July, 2021 and conducted by Mr. Ruchira Perera with covering more details about the Arduino boards, Arduino compatible boards and many kinds of basic programing sessions while doing exercises for the participants with deep explanation and practical designing in Arduino software. The third workshop was held on 24 th of July 2021 giving more information about the Arduino software using more practical sessions through designing a small Arduino project by Mr. Ruchira Perera. Also, there were shared key knowledge on the syntax and concept about the Arduino software. These workshops have completed successfully with the positive feedback from the participants with their own projects and implementations that were designed with the knowledge of this workshop series.
