In a world with 3 billion users, you can never go wrong with Android. The first workshop of MadHack 2021 mainly focused on the first steps into the world of Mobile Application Development with Android. Ms. Roshelle Perera participated as the guest speaker for our very first workshop. After receiving her B.Sc. in Physical Science from the University of Peradeniya and another B.Sc. (Honours) (First Class) in Information Technology from SLIIT, she went on to do her Masters in Computer Science at the University of Colombo for which she received the Kingslake award. She has an illustrative career with over 8 years of experience to her name and currently works at Sysco LABS as an Associate Tech Lead. Ms. Roshelle Perera knows Android Studio like the back of her hand. She’ll be giving the perfect introduction to the platform, throwing in her practical experience using it in actual app development. Workshop 1 was successfully concluded with the participation of 600+ participants.
