The Quiz Competition – NPSS QUIZMASTERS

Description
The quiz competition, NPSS QUIZMASTERS was organized by IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa on the point of increasing members of the society. The competition was carried out through google forms. The link for the google form of the quiz was opened from 4.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. of 28 th of November 2021. A significant number of competitors were there to participate in the quiz. This quiz was an open book one. The competitors were allowed to referrer to internet, books, and other resource medias, but the quiz had to be finished and submitted before 10.00 p.m. The winners were selected according to number of correct answers and time taken to submit the answers. The questions were prepared by the organizing committee by referring to resource papers and texts. Therefore, competition was an appreciable event. Since the questions were related to both the basics of nuclear science and new discoveries in the field of Nuclear and Plasma Sciences, it helped to competitors as well as the organizing committee members to improve the knowledge and identify the significance of this field. The IEEE membership and IEEE membership was given away for free as the reward for the winners of this competition and the volunteers who supported in this event.
