Inauguration meeting with Executive Committee Members for the year 2021 was held on the 1st of March 2021. The official meeting start time was 5:00 PM. The main objective of this meeting was to give an idea about the chapter and its upcoming works. Following this, the Executive Committee Members which were attended the meeting. Chief Coordinator Pasindu Bimsara Associate Coordinator Ravin Muthukumarane Programme Sub Committee Head Thameera Dananjaya Membership Sub Committee Head Wageesha Aluthgama Logistics and Finance Sub Committee Head Chamodya Avishka Report Writing Sub Committee Head Lakitha Madanayake Public Relations and Publicity Sub Committee Head Saketha Pulasthi Beginning the meeting, Nawodya Ishan who is the Chairman of the Computer Society, gave a brief introduction about the year plan and the current status of the society. He also explained the importance of collaboration with other chapters. After that, Executive Committee Members discussed the position of the senior member. Then after the discussion, the most suitable members were selected for the position. Next, the Chairman explained about project plans. As he said projects were grouped as, A – Large Projects, Hacktron v1.0 B – Continuous Projects (Webinar Series) C – Simple Projects (Webinars) D – One-day Projects (Workshops) HackTron v1.0 will be the flagship event of the year planned to happen in September 2021. The upcoming month will be Codegenix Month with many projects. Finally, Chairman simply explained about vTools and how it is important to the Secretary and the Report Writing Committee. And also, how to use it for event reporting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 PM after coming to the agreements on the next meeting. The next meeting was scheduled for the 19th April 2021 at 5:00 PM tentatively.
