“Spill the ink” Poetry Competition

Description
We are delighted to announce that the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of the University of Jaffna was able to successfully conduct the “Spill the ink” , Poetry Contest in honour of the International Day of the Girl Child 2021 . This competition aims to empower girls, enhance their writing skills and amplify their voices. Female undergraduate students from all universities in Sri Lanka were eligible to participate in the competition and the students from seven universities have participated in the competition. Poems that were submitted in English under the theme of “ Digital Generation. Our Generation ” by the students were judged in two segments as the poetry content and the reactions in social media during the defined period.
