The first webinar of the IoT webinar series organized by IET on campus of University of Peradeniya will be held on 6th February 2021 from 5.30 pm onwards. The first webinar will cover the following areas. What is IoT? Definition, characteristics and IoT basic concepts. Difference between IoT and the Internet, IoT and M2M. The webinar will be conducted by Eng. Rajiv Weragama who is a senior Engineer of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the area of Internet of Things at the University of Peradeniya. And also Eng. Anuradha Udunuwara who is a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect in Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, one of the best researchers, a speaker and an award-winning expert on telecommunication technologies.
