Description
The Annual General Meeting of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-s), Student Branch Chapter, University of Peradeniya was held with the participation of Prof. Aruna Gunawardane,Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, UOP (senior treasurer and Advisor of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technics Society, SBC, UOP). After confirming that Minutes of the last AGM, Annual Financial Report and Annual Activity Report were in order,the new office bearers were elected and selected for the year 2022 including Miss. Nethmi Sathsarani as the new chairperson of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society and Mr. Mihin Liyanage as the secretary of the society. Finally, the advisor and senior treasurer of IEEE MTT-S SBC,UoP, Prof.Aruna Gunawardhane addressed the gathering appreciating the hardwork done by previous committee. The conclusion of the AGM was remarked with the hope of having another fabulous year of the society with the newly appointed committee.
