Annual General Meeting 2022

Description
The IEEE Student Branch of UCSC convened for their annual general meeting for the year 2022 on the 11th of April 2022. The AGM was moderated by Ms. Uvini De Silva and approximately 30 members of the IEEE SB of UCSC were in attendance. The AGM was opened by Mr.Sahan Dissanayake, former President, welcoming all the SB members in the audience to the AGM. His speech was followed by Mr. Thenuka Weerasinghe, former Secretary presenting the meeting minutes of the previous AGM, which was passed with no matters arising from the minutes. Afterwards, Mr. Chanaka Wickramasinghe former Treasurer presented the annual financial reports for the years 2020/2021. The financial report too passed with no issues. Next the office-bearers for the term 2022/2023 were introduced followed by the appointment of the office-bearers of the Board of Directors. Mr. Akila Maithripala, the newly appointed chairperson, then presented the action plan for the year 2022. The event was then concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the newly appointed secretary Ms. Yadeesha Weerasinghe.
